Etna eruption from Valle del Bove

Here are a few shots of my amazing homeland...

Etna is packed with enthusiasts ready to tackle some pretty tough trails just to enjoy the show. I headed out with some great company along the "Schiena dell'Asino" (Donkey's Back)—a relatively easy trail, though the leftover snow made us work for it a bit.

Once you finish the trail, you reach the southern wall of Valle del Bove, where you get a view of the volcano's peak and the lava flow pouring down the wall. Absolutely spectacular!
